No this is an addon for vbulletin.
Don't worry no profit for me, but it uses the cp.css and replaces colours, but it uses cp.css from the forum root none the less, the admin of vbulletin uses the original colours though. Nothing is actually being ripped here, its all my work, if you check the admin panel script, all it uses is vbulletin cp.css, but the html is all mine, I am willing to show you the admin index.php if you wish. The style may look the same but I've actually setup the frames differently from the vbulletin one, and it uses my own function to make tables, bu at the moment my functions are not working, o I am using good ol html to make my nav name and so. Rest asured it may look like vbulletin's admin panel, but it has nothing of vbulletin coding. This is being made for my friend only. No cash involved, I am going to use it for myself, but with alot of modifications. Anyways, hope you have enough information. -Arunan |

I wonder how I am selling someone elses product, the code is actually put together by me, icons and template design by me and a friend, and image by me. It doesn't even use vbulletins template system, it uses files instead of the database. I can assure you that this was never someone elses product, I did this from scratch, and if you do not believe me, I guess you have to live with that, mainly because I know that I spent countless hours coding this with no bugs for my good friends, and someone seems to think I plan to sell this that was ripped. When thinking about it basically nothing of this is ripped. I can't blame you for thinking, maybe I should of put some information on how this works, and differences in performance, and ways of performance. Anyways, I hope you understand that, I never intend to ripp anyones product, and very likly I never will. -Arunan Edit: If you plan to ask me for proof, I would really appreciate it if you would aim me, and ask me politly, I have learned my lesson not to start discussions here anymore about anything. Now I wonder why hackers do not post hacks much or talk much....ummmm Good Day |
Also I expect a reply from you two, I will continue to bump this til I receive a decent reply from you, either sticking with the fact I ripped or other.
-Arunan Note to the above post. Also if I do decide to make profit off something I worked on, I don't think what you say will make an affect on it. Mainly becaue I know how much I worked on this. You accusitions are not really needed. Sure the admin panel may look same, but I can easily modify it, I don't need to make it look like vbulletin, I did that because this was a addon for vbulletin. I am really upset about this, you being a coder yourself I know for sure wouldn't be pleased if I had replied to your discussion thread of a modification and started calling you a ripper and making acussitions. Also do not reply to this saying that you didn't call me a ripper directly, because I well know that you intended to send that message out. |

Umm, now I feel kind of wierd now.
In reply to the ripping of vbulletin, it was a reply to PPN's. I instantly thought you said I ripped it because with other projects people say I ripp, and accuse me of this and that, yet they cannot prove it to me, even when I prove to them I have not ripped. Also yes I do own noxmedia.net But I have decided to stop making hacks, due to the fact some others say that my hacks suck, so I removed them all except from my first 3 hacks, which I truly think sucked. Sorry for misunderstanding, I hope you can understand, from stuff that have happend to me, I really get ticked quickly at key words that have been used against me in the past. Thanks for the comment. -Arunan |

Though I may be releasing simple but useful little mods here and there, though I am not that, I gues it will help me to improve my Skill. Also please excuse all words with our S, my keyboard doesn't work properly. -Arunan |
Arunan, before you jump on your high horse and go off at some tangent because you think everyone is out to get you, at least take into consideration what you said in your first post.

All it uses is vbulletin global for permissions, and the admin function.
I also stated that I was working on my own functions, so that it can be seperated from the vbulletin ones. The admin panel doesn't use vbulletins maketable functions etc, I have it using normal html, because I know that many big changes have to be made to be used without vbulletin. I have taken it all into account when I made this, to make it work without vbulletin, all you have to do, is replace the code require("global.php"); with admin_gobal.php which has code to connect to the database, and has settings information. I may be new to php, but I have learned to take all things into account when making something. Sure it may not be as organized like vbulletin, but it does need vbulletins admin files. I just looked back at the code, it uses basically nothing of vb, except the global and the cp.css, and the vb settings, table which can be easily modified. Again it does not use vBulletin Admin Panel System, if you want proof I will show you the setup of the code in it, its way different, including the html itself. -Arunan |
I'll take your word, but the admin panel looks identical in layout from your first screenshot which was the only one i looked at. The same sort of general navigation on left version on top bar, then the way the links were organised and the way the header looked.
The second screenshot then looked exactly like one of the vBulletin option screens. It doesnt matter if your not using the functions, but if your using the html that the functions would generate. |
