I don't know if this question was answered in any of the other replies, but can this version still create private and public journals? From the first post it kinda didn't sound like it, but I felt like I should just double check before I dismiss the hack. Is this feature coming shortly in a newer version?

i think it's great you released this, altho i really don't like what you done and i prefer the journal interface etc, theirs stuff that i want from vB journal lite that is taking way to long to get released upgraded, hopefully this will kick the guys who made it up the arse to bring out the features that has been heavily requested

Vbjournal lite is exactly what i needed nuthing more nuthing less
the only thing i would probably add is an vbcode interface to the Journal other then that it works fine

GS, no. This is just a very simple hack that modifies your journals forum so that each thread can only be posted to by the person who created it. It also, if memory serves me correctly, prevents a person from creating multiple threads.

OK, thanks. I guess I will go see how much the other journal mod takes. If it's a lot I may be back. :)

I am realy looking for a good journal......I think the remarks in this thread have been uncalled for and confused me to the point that I dont want to install either of them.......

Can we stop the cat fighting and get on with hacking!

Sorry if my comments offend
