Bingo! That's what I was trying to point of to Drk. That's also why I said that sometimes the smartest people do the dumbest things. It goes the oither way, too. Sometimes the dumbest people do the smartest things (and I don't mean that in a negative way).

I agree with you there Boofo, and its hard to tell if someone is genuinly smart or not, plus what I consider to be smart you may think isn't very smart at all and vice versa.

Thank you. I am always telling the wife to be careful where she goes and what she does on the Internet. There are a lot of crazies and wanna_bes who will do whatever they can to convince you of whatever they want you to believe. Some do it for ill_gotten gains and some do it because they are ashamed of who they really are and have to hide behind falseness (is that even a word? :) ). As far as gaging smartness goes, there really is no gage for that. It is all up to the perspective of the person who is gaging it. :)

I have a sense for these things, I can see when someone is lieing. For example, my server-admin talks about crap all the time, thinking I don't understand what he is saying. I just sit tehre and agree, cuz there is no point in arguing, because I know what he says is bull++++, mostly because I know what he is talking about, anyways, don't worry about me, I have an eye for these things ;)

If your saying is what evberyone would believe, then the point of this thread is now useless.

So what the hay go ahead and post who you believe is the smartest person you have met on the net.

Though everyone I have met in the vbulletin community, is what they say to be.

For Example: I am canadian, now isn't that honesty :)
I have a 68% average in school lol...85% before that, but I got to cocky of my grades, and i payed the price.

Now if you know me personally you would know its true, but as you know you do not know me personally, and you have to use your brain to think, is it possible, is it reasonable, and most of all, is it acceptable.

I don't worry too much about you, Drk. You have always seemed to be an up front type of guy to me. But I will wholeheartedly disagree with you on everyone I have met at vb.org being on the up and up. There are people here that I KNOW are full of crap about who they say they are. (Don't worry Erwin and hellsatan, I won't mention any names. ;) ). All seriousness aside, there are quite a few good people here, but as with apples, there are also a few spoiled ones. :)

As far as the smartest person I have ever met on the net goes...I can't do that. I know alot of equally smart people on the net as well as some equally ignorant people, too. There is no ONE person that I would lay claim to as the smartest. That really wouldn't be fair. :)

Just because I am studying law doesn't make me the smartest guy around. In fact, since I can make a whole lot more money as a doctor, I am probably stupid to spend more money and take time off work to study law when I don't have to.

Just had an exam this morning in fact. 3 more exams to go. Now I'm at work. :) I am flattered though. But I don't claim to be anywhere near the smartest. :)

Just curious, what kind of doctor (specialty) are you and what kind of law are you studying to go in to? :)
