Nope.

That's fine, though. Like I said, the other staff doesn't want it, and it wasn't removed because of this.

strange i use firebug and it works.

did you overwrite the codes or just added it in additional.css

I'll have another look tomorrow.

You can change the colors in style variable editor

In the threadbit section change following:

Does this work with vB 4.2.0? And will it knacker the tables/styles? I'm using standard vB 4.2 skin.
