I agree, I think the current admincp is purposely simple to avoid problems, so adding a more complicated one is taking a risk. And if there are people who like it and would pay for it that's great, but I don't think I'd pay for something that didn't add any functionality and was only visible to admins.

It does look nice though.

I LOVE this part of it.
But still, I don't know how I feel about a 3rd party admincp modification. It's such a touchy area, I'd really want to leave such a thing for vB themselves to make if they so wished.

Looks very nice, except maybe the icons, but other than that looks more friendly than default vb control panel.

DivisionByZero 05-27-2012 04:53 AM

friendliness is the whole point for doing it. A lot of my vb freelance work is for clients who ask a lot of admincp questions that us seasoned vb users know, but people just starting out are hard pressed to understand.

Has this been completed yet?

Does it include an option to add & edit bb code?

DivisionByZero 04-01-2013 10:17 PM

its done for me. im not releasing anything here anymore because of what this site has become.

Zachery 04-02-2013 04:40 AM

So you pretty much used this place to advertise your mod?

DivisionByZero 04-02-2013 06:12 AM

no. im not selling it. there's no real interest in it. I'm just sick of the politics here since Jelsoft died and IB was born.

Zachery 04-02-2013 08:31 PM

Not really sure what you're referring to :)

djbaxter 04-02-2013 08:59 PM

This would appear to be the real reason for the decision:
