I see what you are saying now but I won't be adding an entire front end just so mods can set the threads- sorry- that's a lot of work.

No problem, I understand. Mine is to suggest, yours to decide what to do with it. :)

Did not forget about Alan's suggestion in Post #11 but just released a quick update to disable by style which I needed ASAP for my own forum.

This mod will be active (when enabled) for all users with permission to "Manage Threads" in any given forum.
Admins, super-mods, and any mods tht have thread management permission will see it.

On my board, I have two dumpster threads. "random chitchat", for stuff that got way off topic, and "snippiness" for pointless arguments. Typically those posts are in clusters. So what I'd like to be able to do is to select all those posts and then have two extra options in the Moderation Tools drop menu. One for each of those dumpster threads.

That way can move the posts in bulk and I can choose which of the two threads they should go. Also wouldn't further clutter up the space around my posts which is pretty limited at this point.

Just to ask if you plan to implement my suggestion, about different thread for each forum?

How to Show "Quick Move Post" to Another location ? Ex: Near Edit post ! you can add option for "Quick Move Post" display location without manual template edit ?

BirdOPrey5 11-23-2012 12:06 PM

ANy change would require manual template edits. You are free to play with it but I am not going to be moving it anywhere else.
