Yes, but unfortunately not on vb.org

Here is a list: www.vb-commercial.com

I feel the same way Boofo. It ain''t worthy to spend time and effort in releasing something for free when all you get in return is grief and ungratefulness from the users.

Still would be nice if coders would "ban" a user from downloading their mods. :p

Unfortunately it is not a few but quite a lot of these "bad apples".

Or... after having time to think on this...

Could it be a few of us tend to reply like this when one of the supposed bad apples post too frequently in a weeks time? Why are they Bad Apples...? I guess it's a different scenario for each of us... in regards to who's what.

It's certainly not everyone but the few typically negative ones on here account for a small portion of our overall community and perhaps we're focusing too much on their words when we should ignore them and keep on truckin' eh? Sounds like my new plan, keep helping the community and simply ignore the other posts that are non-sense (I didn't say ignore beginners or truly genuine questions, please note that and continue to be helpful!) otherwise you spend more time in shock & awe then actually helping others :erm:.

Borbole quit hanging out on the xenforo site and get your butt back in here on a regular basis .

I was poking around XF earlier this weekend... For a couple days I thought I was going to be admining an XF community... Glad the plans changed. :)

I think the OP, and others on occasion, don't understand that this is a community site and not another site for "official" vb support, so they just need it explained. But it's true, there are others who just want to get what they need for free by begging or complaining or whatever, those are the ones I try to ignore.

Create a mod for vbulletin.org so that coders can ban annoying members from donwloading their mods. Maybe using the ignore user function :D

Well I for one admire the coders here and at vb com who have gone out of their way to help me with a problem or to better understand the inner working of VB.
Please don't let some one popping off stop you from continuing to make great add on goodies and giving such great support. I know if some of you stop I'm going to be up crappola creek with out a paddle.

I'm not tech savvy at all and have had a few problems with some downloads, but accept that is either me or incompatibility so I try something else. As has been mentioned the mods are free and so, in my opinion are an absolute bonus, I try to show my appreciation for the time and effort of the coders.

Be grateful for someone sharing their coding to those of us that wouldn't have a clue to even start an add on from scratch.

All i got to say to CODERS is how about just ya all ignore this thread in a way where he mentioned that support is really bad ????? I am new to vb may b like 4 months and i always got answers from mod's coders or other senior members. Sometimes its late but in the mean time i try to search around or try to do it on my own remembring things that i do and if something goes wrong i delete it right away to bring it back to right position :)

Mr dizzynation... u ever thought about coders or mod's when u get things free ? when u get their help right away ? they ain't bots buddy normal human beings :) PEACE EVERYONE :)

I agree with your last statement. But if you look deeper, it is a symptom of a larger problem: vB.org is strongly anti-commercial. Will ungrateful downloaders one day join together be grateful for the tools they receive for free? Highly unlikely. On the other hand, are you allowed to promote your websites containing paid products? No. Why? Being too commercial would make the board spam-tastic, and this will probably never change.

I don't know if you remember, but when I posted the thread a while back asking if anyone wanted paid registration (my first real modification here), you voiced your feelings of unappreciation by downloaders. I took note of what you said and when I released my product I asked for support and... from the few appreciative downloaders, I got it: a tester, two donators, and a few suggestions that made the mod better than I could have ever hoped, before 30 installs to top it off!

The best you can do is get support, have a clear goal, and have a clear mission when releasing the product. My mission with that product is to complete the vBulletin experience, and my goal is to win MOTM.

The difference between installs and downloads is discouraging, and I have definitely had moments of weakness where I considered stopping support, but I have help from contributors and a mission, so I will be ok. :) Hope this will change your mind.
