OK, thanks for the links. What i'm actually looking for is something more akin to Just for you which allows users to customise our homepage, etc. This is the feature which i'm most in need of - I want them to be able to add certain features to the homepage - ie we import news links from several major sites, we have active topics from the forum, today's TV, etc, etc. I'd like all this customisable by the user - but to use the vBulletin member information to avoid having to register twice.
I contacted the author of that package, but had no response at all from him :( Anyone else any ideas ? |
This is incredible. Integrating the 2 is key. Higher voltage.net almost has it, but I'd like to see the article and the replies in the same page.

not that any of that really makes sense to me, its a good thing it was fixed.
hopefully people that use it will upgrade soon. |
Where can I download the php 4 compatable edition. I just downloaded the file, and it has all .php3 extentions.
|
If this gets ported into vb that would rule!

This is my gaming portal, i run php-nuke 3.0, and its fast and nice. but unfortunatly i have to run UBB, at least until i can get something else. It would probably be easy to intergrate the two a lil closer, although the table structure for users is very diffrent. One suggestion is to find the insertv statement for new users in user.php3 and insert another sql insert statement to also have the same info inserted to vB's user db. Just a thought. Stay tuned to bomb.net as we are redoing php-nuke (PHPBomb) and it will feature a PHP board and everything built in. |
