this is no doubt a VB issue not a client issue, If these guys are involved any site my be next

maybe talk to vB about cancelling your license and issuing you a new one?

they wont Lynne already said its on him as per their agreement on lic

oops so their is no way way of contacting them and i mine license may be cancelled please some one give me a good idea of taking down that site

vB is washing their hands of your situation. I doubt that site will take itself down, the guys are hackers. Looks like your license is going to get cancelled.

Question is, will you have to take your personal site down, or just not be able to download the latest updates? Did vB explain what will happen to your site? ie cancelled license, therefore your host is going to get another letter about your site as well from vB.

wow i may have a way to hack them, if its your board use your reg number to and password to go in and update the board to some earlier version then change the passwords and stuff dunno if it will have the same reg stuff going on but heck i would do it

man VB needs a super admin back door password for this sort of thing

I did some research as this got my attention....

There are some illegal copies of vBulletin which come with keygen's now. So there is the possibility that the site used a keygen and got lucky (came up with a valid number)

I did some research as well....
if the OP is running a warez site..
more than likely gave his/her license out to a ripper who may of told them they would remove all customer info from the license..
