This would be nice in a full featured mod that would allow you to select different effects (falling snow, leaves, hearts, etc.), select which styles you wanted it to appear on, and allowed you to set an active date range.

Would like to know if this is still supported and working with the latest versions of vB. Interested in maybe deploying it for our Christmas skin this year.

I thought I give it a try...I have the suite 4.1.8 and it works on all pages but not on the forum or cms?

Javascripts should work on all pages when you add it to header template.

However I have added a christmas light as someone requested as an addon of my style here

You can use the guide of install in any style not just the one I shared.
