The 3.8 and 4.0 versions of my Glow BB Codes are the same, I just posted them in each, it doesn't matter which you use.

I think you miss understood my question or maybe I should have made myself more clear (sorry).

Do I use the code in your first post, your last post, or the one posted by the rootsxrocks?

I was kind of hoping to use this on 4.1 PL2, but would like to know it will work in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari, and Opera Browser or at the very least, the majority of them.

I don't know what you mean bu my "last post" but if you want to use this BB Code I suggest following the instructions in the top/first post- This code works in Chrome, Safari, Opera, Firefox, and Internet Explorer.

rootscrock posted a link to another BB Code that also does the glow effect... Obviously I prefer my own code but I'm probably not the most impartial person to ask... On the other hand it's just a BB Code, I wouldn't worry about it that much- just pick one. If you like it, great, if not, try the other...

LOL sorry to cause the confusion, I would love to answer but I have some major breakage on my 4.1 at the moment and can't tell you.

Installed and working. But when clicking the glow button, I get a small window which ask me to impute my glow options. I quickly found out that it was to type in the color I wanted. But it would have been more useful had it told me that or showed a color chart.

Unfortunately BB Codes are very limited and you can't have custom options like a color chart. Perhaps in a newer version of VB a color picker can be an option on a BB code. When I add a new bb code I make a thread telling people how to use it so they have an idea what to put in the box.

I have had fun with it trying different colors with not so common names and it seems to get most of them .
