the drop-down menus right under the logo aren't working and the profile page is a bit broken :\

Not sure exactly what is casing this issue. Seems to be working fine on my end ,I would have to get a link to examine better.

that's what the guys at vbulletin.com said but oddly it doesn't work.

Some CSS -- most likely in the additional.css template -- must be overwriting it, then.

See if you can find what CSS is overwriting it by inspecting the element.
