yes iam sure Filip

vshop file to the forum root directory and then uploading the XML file.
What is do difficult ?

goshalim 07-23-2010 01:46 AM

Found the Problem
In the read file you mention that
Quote:

vBShop (Lite) requires at least vBulletin 4.0.2
and in here you say that its
Quote:

vB Version: 3.8.x
Iam using 3.8.1

DragonByte Tech 07-23-2010 12:51 PM

The readme has not been updated since the 3.8.x version was released.

Also, you need to upload the ENTIRE contents of the upload folder, not just the vbshop file.

But this is what iam doing ! Iam uploading the entire folder .

When you unzip you have the vbshop folder which contains the upload ,the XML folder and the read txt.

thats it i do not even open it just uploading the vbshop to the forum root .
and then after that the XML file for the 3.8.x version

Please check again

I give Up my friend

No this
Code:

/home/canarybr/public_html/up/forum/dbtech/vbshop/includes/class_install.php appears to be missing!

DragonByte Tech 07-24-2010 12:20 PM

You say you upload the vbshop folder. This is incorrect. The readme clearly states that you need to open the "upload" folder and upload what's inside.

Filip

In the forum directorywe have the same folders whicch are the same ones in the UPLOAD file of yours.

IF i upload them , then i will be asked to re write them , IS that correct ?

Also if in a later stage i want to remove the vshop where do i found my files again ?

I adding those files will not cause any problems to my forum ?

Or shall i open the 4 folders whcih are in the vshop and upload them one by one in the existing mine folder with the same name

Please explain us in more detail ,for those which are not experts.
