I can confirm that with my two vBulletin 4.0.5 boards. Where did you looked for the option/setting?

Bellethiel 08-01-2010 06:06 PM

kinda everywhere. It would help if you could say where exactly it should be :3

(...)

AdminCP, Settings, Options, Change thread/Posts Owner, "Use group permission"

Well i deinstalled the mod and then tried the english version and that works like it should and that tr thing works too but the german version doesn't give me that menu.

Of course, as in german it's called "?ndert den Besitzer eines Themas/Beitrags". You've never mentioned that you are using a translated version.

Well i'm sure it would have another name but it doesn't show up there at all.

Works perfectly on 4.0.6

Only one thing: mod's can see inline moderation tools and they can *see* but cannot *use* this option. Only Admins may use the hack, moderators may not. That is OK, but if a usergroup doesn't have rights to use the hack then they also must not see it in the inline moderation popup menu. Now they know the option exists, and start asking questions about it as to why they are not allowed to use that option.

I agree, and have been asking for this since 3.7 I think.

Nice mod, I am using it for long time with vB 3
one problem though, when I allow Admins only to use it.. it still shows up as an option to SMODs but they can't use it.. I don't like it showing up unless they have the permission to use it

Thanks
