The plug-ins were enabled and I had imported the product.

All of the other ADMIN pages work just not the messages page.

I tried uninstalling the product and reinstalling. I get the same errors.

Sorry, but without full access to your site there is nothing else I can tell you.

Support: Please check the instructions, and make sure you have uploaded any files to the correct location - the vast majority of problems reported are due to an error made in editing or uploading files. If you are still stuck and want me to take a look then feel free to PM me your site address, an admin user, and ftp access details, without these I cannot help you. I will look when I have time.

=( buh. OK. Understandable.

So my current status is...
  • The msglist works fine when I move back to original vbulletin40CMS.php file.
  • The msglink does not work with your updated vbulletin40CMS.php file.
  • It seems that the $group isn't passed.
  • The profile link doesn't work with either one. In FC original it was due to the CSRF protection. I was able to work around that. In this mod, it is acting like it is getting the wrong value ... or something =/
  • The rest of the integration does seem to function properly.

I think my next step is to recreate my board as a test board and start tearing things apart.

Paul M, thanks for your assistance and insight, as well as your MODs.

EDIT: Just saw the part about PMing you the details.. I was thinking that your comment was that since you couldn't see it you were at a loss. I will get you the details in a PM. Thanks again.

Hi Paul, did you have a chance to see my earlier post? Is it possible to embed the chat within an existing page, like the main forum listing page? If so, any details on how? Thanks!

Not really no, thats why this mod uses its own page.

If you really want, you could embed it as an iframe, similar to how the custom page works, but I wouldnt recomend it, esp on your homepage, you would very quickly overload your system.

A couple of issues have been fixed in version 4.0.3 released today.

Thanks to Radmoose for reporting them, and for providing access to his site so I could track them down.

Thank you Paul M for taking the time to track them down.

For those following along at home =) some of the issues I posted were most likely due to my installing and uninstalling out of order to try to correct the issues that were ultimately fixed by Paul. The integration did work (other than the minor issues that were ultimately corrected) when installed (or uninstalled) properly and in the correct order. =)

So once we got over the basic install issues (that I seemed to have caused) Paul M was able to resolve the real issues.

Thanks again Paul M for taking the time.

The integration is working well and I have a lot of happy forum members because of it!

(tries to add more stars to the 5 star rating) :)
