It is a forum for coders to get ideas to add to mods they are currently coding themselves. They know how to code. So why on earth would we tell them to learn to do it themselves when they *are* doing it themselves?

How I can see it going is an argument breaking out over whether an idea for a mod shouldm include a certain something, and then someone - be it the coder or someone else - stepping in with "if you want that feature, go and learn how to codee yourself and add it in".
It has been happening too often on here, it's one of the reasons I don't post so much now, because when someone says that, either to me or someone else, I tend to retaliate.

Why the need to be so negative all the time ?

Honestly Paul, I'm not trying to be negative, though it often comes over that way I suppose. I have no problem with vbulletin.org, it's a great resource, I think one or two people have appointed themselves as "forum police" though and they do spoil things a bit for others.
