I had my first child three months ago and as you say it is a magic feeling.
I'm glad your wife didn't have any problems during birth. My baby was born prematurely and she was very lightweight (just under 3.5 lbs).

I agree that it is very important if you're lucky enough for your kids not to cry during night. Unfortunately my daughter sleeps all day long lol and saves every bit of her energy to cry during night :(

Thanks and good to hear there will be another designer amongst us soon enough :p but hopefully her weight is just where it needs to be now and she's very healthy with a happy daddy! And yes lucky, trust us we know one poor unlucky soul's son cried every night in the hospital... I wanted to go offer my cuddling capabilities but that would have seemed awkward to say the least rofl, regardless your daughter will get her times back on track soon enough, sometimes it will test you with the first if you have a full time day job but after your able to clam them down, you realize you love them and you are their protector it brings a smile and something over you that can't be described except it seems like your looking forward to "THEM" (present, future all of it :D).

Well hey hey if it isn't the world's 2nd most infamous Dr. Pepper Addict! (I'm hitting close to a 12 pack a day now... poor liver :p)

I know... don't remind me... McKinley JUST turned 7 years old and already last year she is asking me.. "Daddy what does it mean when a boy says he loves you?" I said girl what's his name? Who is this little boy? reminding myself I can't break an arm at least until they are 16 or so ;) plus I have already had a few make-overs (ohh the rest of you men can bite us, fathers are suckers for a smile and a "please daddy??" !) so I'm getting an early start... at least she loves video games like Daddy does so we game together, Wii makes that a blast IMO.

I just can't wait for my boy to get about 5-7 so we can be in the back yard making foxholes with G.I. Joes and burying them at funerals never able to find them again like I did when I was little lol.

We'll see but good luck to you in the future years Paul and everyone else here who is a Father or Mother, love them, protect them and keep on smiling because they LOVE you too :D.
