nice would have used this a while ago. this is good for brand new members to restrict for a couple days.

I had a curious result with this. I installed the plugin, and set the params to 1 thread/24 hours and 10 replies/24 hours for a user group.

I then moved a single user into that usergroup and managed to post 2 new threads and 11 replies. I assumed the plugin wasn't working.

I've just tried it again though, several hours after doing as described above, and I was not able to post either a new thread or a new reply - implying it has actually worked.

I tried using the 3.7 Throttle Threads/Posts and its a no go. I'd like to limit thread creation in some subforums indefinitely but havent been able to find a solution.

Hummm... I'm using vB v3.6.12 and its working very well.

Have you tested with a ridiculous number for the time? (I have my Throttle time set to 999999! :p )

That's exactly what I planned on doing, but I think I should clarify, I tried using the mod made for 3.7 under my board which is at 3.8.2 and had no luck. Was hoping this would work, but I need to be able to assign only specific forums/subforums to be throttled.
