Fire me a link to your site, in a PM if oyu dont want it public and I will take a look for you.
There is kind of a "specific" way to setup the categories get to vHoist to display the images on the forum, because I'm overriding the way the forum is populated. That being said, if you can't get it to work, you can add a "Link" forum to your actual forum and point it towards vHoist.php on your site, you just won't have the live updates when someone updates their ride right on the main part of your forum. ForumID doesn't really matter, as long as it's *NOT* a forumID that is already in use. CategoryID will determine where vHoist falls on your forum. For people using forums that ONLY have sub categories, then you may have a problem posting it directly on the main site and I will have to look for an alternative solution besides adding the link manually. |
Oh and.. if anyone has suggestions or comments..keep in mind this is still in Beta, and I'm sure there are tons of things that you guys have thought of, that I haven't... so post them all up, good or bad.

Ok i got it to display but have 2 issues now. Where do I find a list of Forum ID's so I can place it in the proper one. Also I added 2 cars on vHoist but it still says "There are no vehicles parked here yet." when i click on the category on my forum.

Well found out why the cars weren't showing
".....does not have any images and will not show up until you upload some. " I'll add some pics later. But where are the list of forum id's? |
You can get them by just "hovering" of your forum and picking up the f=XXXXX where XXXXX is the forum / category id.
For example, this forum is located in this category: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=227 Therefore the "Category ID" is 227 The forum itself is here https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/forumdisplay.php?f=228 Therefore the forum ID is 228 So if I wanted to make this appear under category 227, i would set categoryID to 227 and forumid to like 999 |
I use Content Relevant URLs by vBSEO so I think that prevents me from see that. Any other way?

Sure, inside of your vBulletin admin
Forums & Moderators -> Forum Manager THen do the same sort of "highlighting" technquie. |
Keeps telling my that my version of vHoist is out dated. I follow the instructions again and get the same thing.
|
It is likely that you missed the step regarding using the passkey from vHoist.com
