is it possible to add "who closed the thread" to the "reason why the thread was closed"??

Example.
Reason why the thread was closed:
general Violation, by xxxx

I would also like the "who closed the thread"... also

Dont work for me :(
Maybe is because of the mod "Auto Move Closed Threads". maybe is in conflict.

What do you think? Anyone with the same problem?

Not showing up for me either. went over all my edits, everything is perfect. by the way I'm on 3.7.4 PL1

box pops up and thread closes fine, but it's not showing the reason in the thread. I too would like the Closed by Addition. it would save me a lot of PM's

We have lazy mods :o Remind them as we might, many just close and move along without indicating who or why with a reply :\ This hack helps address that, but I would also add the request to include "closed by"

I'm on the same setup of 3.7.4 PL1, installed fine and once I'd updated all the lines in the SHOWTHREAD template for my current styles (as indicated with the installation instructions) it's showing the reason fine. Did you also add that line after "t<!-- / toolbar -->" to show the "$reason" ?

Going to try and install on 3.6.11. Another great mod would be why a thread was moved. A PM sent to the user.

This would be great if it showed who closed it as well. It would also be better if it showed the message in a better looking spot. eg. down the bottom instead of at the top.

Can you update to vB 4.x?
