So a user can add a post from my forum onto facebook for example with 1 click of a button? So other members can see it and then hopefully join?

Exactly ! , and the Social Bookmarks bar only shows in forums viewable to guests

Unless you renamed all the image files as bookmarksite_XXXXX then you have the wrong file path
