Actually thats not it at all. Thats just a regular chat room... not an instant messenger like facebook...

I tested, there is no conflict with jquery, so it even works fine on the forum! I will check a bit later on if I can figure out with session or cookies that the chat window stays open when you change the site, not want to work with iframes...

and also thinking about to do a chat where you only can chat your friends (like on facebook).

no this works only with div's and the mouseover ballon with jquery...

description how to do a bar like that you will find on my blog. (german) but the code is the same... :)

well the chat loads every 10 seconds and only if it's open. but you can change the refresh to what ever you want!
