Hopefully this will be the last beta and we can move on to the RCs. As far as my small site goes, it has been stable for me since beta 3. I upgraded to beta 4 the day after I installed beta 3, actually.

im sort of a noob

once you are into the "rc" stage, does that mean its a "stable version" or is that the final step before it becomes stable?

They really need to do something about the social groups and just the general way people are notified etc. My members dont really notice if anyone has posted there at all.
For that reason I hope there is at least *1* more beta :p

Why :confused:

Semi personal reason about a lack of internet access, but still managed to upgrade site to vBulletin 3.7 beta 5.

RC = Release Candidate

That means it's in the final stages and most of anything that was added has already been done. This is the serious bug-finding stage. Hopefully a lot of them have already been found and corrected. The RC versions are supposedly more stable than the betas although I have found the last couple of betas pretty stable.

ok i got ya.

might i assume the bugs in the RC stage wouldnt be big enough to worry about too much? just minor inconvienences, not obvious, error causing bugs that would seriously affect the members?

thank you sir!
