What happens when the video sites change the file location for the images?

While its not likely, it is possible that this would result in a lot of destroyed thumbnails unless this is storing a copy of the thumbnail on the vbtube pro server. Can you confirm this detail?

Also, will it ever be possible to add to multipe categories?

What happens if a bigger player comes out, will it break the page? There doesn't seem to be a standard video size these days.

I dont know in what kind of location maybe youtube will change the images ?
This i can say, when i saw the location and if theres a way to fix i will do it..

It is possible at vbTubePRO to add the thumbnail extra. you can upload it to your server and add the url of the image there..

if a bigger player comes then we will make some template changes.

you can add categories how many you like ? do you mean subcategories ?
