Love the hack, but you might want to specify in the Options when linking to the forum whether you only put the forumid or the full link. I was confused about that.

I don't want old members to have to fill this in when they update their profiles. Any way around this?

I have a 'new member introductions' thread, which works much better than a new thread for every member.
Could you add an option to post introductions in a thread?

I will have to look into that, I had not had that trouble as all my members had to sign up with it..

can you explain where i do this at:
