where in navbar template that I can move this announcement around ?
I have some other thing on forum home, under navbar template and i like to arrange them.

just a suggestion for global. i use the welcome header hack for simaliur purposes and place a variable $welcomeheaders in the templates where i desire placement. i find that quite handy and it works well in add on scripts like vbadvanced and photopost. maybee somthing along those lines w/ a option to auto edit (for simple use on forum home) and manual edit switch for those that wanna use this global.

welcome headers are sharp but u cant use a annoncement and a welcome message at the same time. and this hack w/ the color/image really adds detail to a site.
