OH, see, that explains it. So these people haven't clicked on the validation links then. Gotcha.

The whole registration process is automatic until you, other admins and super mods have people who have confirmed their emails, then you will have users to moderate ;)

Enjoy your new feature :)

Is there any way to make it such that I can have a user in a certain usergroup instead of a super moderator. I want to have others ONLY moderate the user registrations and not be able to do anything else. Thus I don't want them to have full super moderator perms just to use this moderate user ability.

AFAIK, no.

My biggest headache after moving to vBulletin from phpbb (+category hierarchy mod) is that it has put the complete load of usergroup management on me (the admin) :(. I liked the way group moderators worked in the older setup where group moderators could add or remove users to from usergroups.

i'm with simunaqv on this. If we could have a usergroup management function similar to the one in phpbb, where you can assign a certain user as the "manager" of that 1 usergroup, that person would then be in charge of who gets added and deleted.

Example: i run a website for a gaming community. we have multiple groups set up for the various servers, and for our server admin staff. while i run the site, i am not in charge of the admins or the individual groups. but as of right now, the people who DO run those groups have to continually PM me who to add and who to remove. is there a way to allow a single user to be able to manage a single usergroup, like can be done in phpbb?

Nope, not without a custom hack and probably changes to vBulletin's core code to do it.

Moderate New User Registrations (ModCP Option) for v3.7.x is available here.

NEW: Uses v3.7.x's notification system to let you know how many new users need moderating, and vastly improved permissions.

There is something weird. I installed this, but users are joining without a moderator accepting or denying them. I also have Invitation System, maybe that is a factor?

Try testing it with the Invite System disabled (it may bypass normal registration routines), see if there are any issues then, my staff have been using this for over 6 months without any problems, but then we do not have an invite system installed.

Also please click Mark as Installed, as you are currently using my hack.
