A bad idea mate. Firstly if he gets a mysqldump then by definition the problem is gone. The error is because of a crashed index file, which wont replicate in a data restore from mysqldump. Also, all the php from whatever hack uses the table will die.

You got a crashed index, it's not the table's fault. Sounds like something went wrong in the middle of a repair. In future, don't repair or optimise your tables unless they are broken.

Yes, only repair if they are broken.

Another note is, test modification on a test board and see if they cause any changes.
