I was a sysop on the old "zone" and she asked me to play a game of checkers. Well, we spoke on the phone that night and I could understand her perfectly seeing as she's American but she could hardly understand me at all (Scottish accent) so it was an interesting phone conversation... lol.
We've just been married 5 yrs last month and we have 2 yr old twins (NO, we didn't do it twice in the one night) so life's kinda hectic... :D

I met my first wife on a local BBS. This is before the Internet was widely available in the late 80s. We married in '91. We divorced 6 years later.

I met my second wife on another local BBS in 1995. We started dating in 1999-2000 and were married in 2002.

Yep... I was married when we met and she was in a long-term relationship. I was getting a divorce in 1997 and she left her relationship in 1999. We didn't start dating until both of us were single.

I met my second fiance online - and found out she was cheating on me a several months later... online.

A year after that I met my third, and final, fiance. We got married and have been for almost 8 years now (two children). :)
