I've bought and sold quite a few forums. It's definatley better to sell than to let it expire. I've seen too many nice forums go because the owner gave up and just let the domain and hosting expire.

I recieved a cash offer of $2,500.00 dollars for my site. I declined...........The person wanted me to continue to run the site too, but then it would just become a job.

I'd sell my main one for another over 20k. makes almost 2k a month though and a ton of active members and posters, with content you won't find else where :yesway:

Probably the same guy that offered the same amount for my site, SpaceBuffs.com, and with the same terms: that I continue to run it. Besides the fact that I've had larger offers that I turned down—I guess based solely on the PR and design, cause it sure ain't the traffic—I wouldn't sell a site then continue to run the thing; if I did decide to sell my site, it would because I want to move on to other pursuits.

HaHa, anyone wanna offer me 2500$ to sale the site and still run it? Id do it in a heart beat, heck I would do it for $250.

I have turned down $30,000 for my extremefitness.com site... It's something I consider from time to time, but haven't really been all that concerned about it.

I love your boards, I have sent many people to the space one, not sure if they signed up or not, I will talk to a friend of mine that works at NASA, I bet allot of them propeller heads over there would dig your site and make contributions.

Back on the subject though, I don't think I could ever sell one of mine, I put to much of me into them, would be like selling a child.
