Set it to block mail.ru in attempts to block spammers using that site.

In spite of that, the mod still allows registrations from that site?

What am I missing?

I don't think this mod is functioning, at least for the domain element blocking as above.

As Quarterbore didn't reply for my PM but Last Online: Jun 2007 I will post a language phrase fixed version of this mod...

This is ONLY language phrase fixed version! No any function modifications!

If my computer has IP 123.123.123.123 and admin of forum with this MOD will add my IP to IPS' block list of this MOD I will not be able to register.

I don't see any association with two above any mail.ru
mail.ru just sends mails and it is not a proxy server.

Well, I probably don't know what I'm talking about... ;)

I just took his instructions quoted below with AdminCP literally and assumed that anyone using the domain suffix mail.ru would be blocked.

Just noticed today, that when a guest goes to register, he/she now sees, twice, this:

at the top of the page...they can still successfully register, but how can I get rid of this?

Both of you are trying to prevent users from registering their EMAIL as those domains. That functionality is already built into vb. User Banning Options -> Banned Email Addresses

This mod is to prevent registration based on their actual IP address they are coming from, not what email account they use

Anyone know if the IPs entered can be ranges? Like trying to ban all of Asia, etc? Using 88 with nothing after it, etc
