Thanks DChapman, the latest build fixed my issues with adding new tags via ajax. However, this addon does not seem to get to my vba CMPS. When I added the zoints profile it worked fine and did all the automated template edits including the navbar on cmps. With the thread tag system it is no where to be seen on cmps and I could not get a tags module working for that matter either.

https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/newthread...wthread&f=112&tag=xxx

Also what is the syntax for searching based on a specific tag?

I apologize, i'm not quite following what you're trying to accomplish. What do you want to do and why?

Yes I do. If you have any questions, please let me know.

Did you do this with your CMPS?

5. Note for vBadvanced CMPS users
============================================
In order for the automatic template edits to work, login to your admin cp, click on the
"Default Settings" link under the "vBa CMPS" section. Once there, add the following to the
"Portal Output Global Variables" setting

zointstags_searchform
zointstags_tagslink

This hack is amazing!
But as I can see is not possible to search multiple tags, why? It would be great to have this possibility (ie comma separated words in search).

Adding tags to threads with char like "àèìòù" tags are incorrect added to thedatabase: (ie. "velocita" -> "velocitu00e0").
p.s. I use UTF-8 encoding

Great hack, thanks.

Has anyone got this working with vbseo? Would be great to have the threads that are pulled by the tag search to use vbseo rewritten urls rather than the vb default.

Thanks.

Edit: Found the answer here http://network.zoints.com/showpost.p...72&postcount=2

We hope to allow for multiple tag searching in the future. And we'll have better multi language support in the next release.

Nice. I second the multiple tags search feature request.

Is there a way to set up different tag-systems or probably just clouds for different forums?

I see that there is already option to exclude some forums from tag system, but that will work only for one topic.
I have few topics on my board and that is why I wish to have separate cloud for each one....

Is this possible with current version or doable in future?
Thanks!!!

Zoints 11-21-2006 09:03 PM

Kafi,

I forsee that being doable in the future.

To everyone else here. There will be no future releases of the 3.5.x version of the tags system, only the 3.6.x and later revisions. AJAX support in vB 3.5.x is far too problematic to work with and slows down development time significantly. Due to most forums being on or making the transition to 3.6.x, we've decided to do this so that we can provide more features and better support in a timely manner going forward. I apologize for the trouble, but feel this is the best decision for the community at large.

Thanks DChampman .-)

hope you can add this feature ASAP .-) ... and you made another bit to push me into 3.6x .-)
