great hack... but....
[List users] (doesnt show my "marked location") yet [Your Entry] when clicked on is filled out... [Show Main Map] shows a map ... but not my 'marked location'.... I added the cron job (in admin cp)....ran it like you said.... markers.xml is in the /forums (directory) with .777 chmod there are 7 Entries when clicking on (List Users) YET on the right hand side it says.... Load: <- says nothing... theres supposed to be a number right?? Current markers: 0 <- ?? but theres 7 entries in list users Current Zoom level: 3 (so something should definitly be showing) I dont know whats up... |
24 hour ... ^ bump :tired:
EDIT: It seems to strangly be working now after I did.......... (list users) / (edit) / Using normal URL / highlighted the url in place / COPY + PASTED IT in the "URL of the image for the marker" BOX.......................... .............went back to the map (refreshed) then it worked.... |

How does this work? Do the members put in their own coordinates?
|
I got it installed and it looks great! One small issue.....any idea why the $post[findme] link only works for admins?
EDIT: Nevermind on the findme. I had it between a if /if statement. One thing we would like to do though is remove the usergroup from the list view. We don't want people knowing who the admins are. |
installed and works fine other than i cannot add a marker, i know its down to me not editing the file permissions to '777'.
so my only question may be stupid but can someone tell me how to edit the file permissions for marker.xml to 777? |
Installed and working...
I edited the permissions by opening the XML file in an editing tool and adding 777 between the markers... |
