Really? Such as what? I've had no issues, and I've been with them for...3 months or so now.

I hear Dreamhost has had some issues with massive server loads.

http://www.vbulletin.com/forum/showt...ight=dreamhost For one, theres another thread where scott points out on .com where dreamhost refuses to run php as an apache filter/module which would decrease overall cpu usage with accounts, but you'd lose the ability to track them. Personally I'd rather have happy customers :p

Is this automated? (How do you do that with cpanel?)

daily file backups are easy via cPanel/WHM if you have access that high.

Database backups, i can post a script that will backup the whole servers databases (provided you have root access) or just your databases ;) that you can set to run if needed

I've been hosting with A Small Orange, but lately these 2 months problems came up from nowhere. Tickets are not replied, and what pisses me most, when apache crashes (I have a VPS account), they say my site is up and running and that its my ISP.
Last week I had to buy an account @ siteuptime.com with a 2minute http check, wich is failing on daily basis. Since I write a ticket related to apache and the logs from this new service from siteuptime, they tell me they are suffering network problems.

So, for them, I am a dumb! I've asked them what could I do, if upgrade my VPS with more ram, buy a dedicated server or what, but never get a proper response, always the same "Send us your tracert for your domain, here we can perfectly see your website up and running".

Well, I must say, that im sick of being played as a fool. Good bye www.asmallorange.com, im going to get a new server @ liquidweb.com!

So, from now on, I wont refer any more people to ASO, also known as A Small Orange.

ps. damn im pissed. Good quality hosts are rare to find. But being played as a fool is worse.

asmallorange.com is who I use, great host with many solutions to choose from based on your needs!
