Hmm... I don't think we have any 14 year olds on staff...

/me checks

Nope we are all over 18 afaik.

Boofo 06-14-2006 09:28 PM

I think they were referring to their acting age, not actual age.

Freesteyelz 06-14-2006 09:50 PM

Ooooo

tgreer 06-14-2006 10:05 PM

It would be ASP.NET... they smothered ASP in the cradle.

When Boofo was a mod, the average age of the staff was 82. ;)

Well, I agree with your comments on people getting off their ass and working hard, and I don't think Microsoft is evil, but given their MEGA resources and the inbuilt problems with their bloated OS and the high level of resources needed for their server systems they are just plain incompetent.

If they bought vB the system would be rebuilt to only work with .net or similar. Costs for the average Admin (for running a hosting account which is MS compatible) would go through the roof and all for a product that does nothing more than the existing version.

Are you saying that running Linux is cheaper? If so i agree to a point. Such as the smaller guys running linux is cheaper, but according to alot of recent market studies developing on MS is cheaper

Really? Do you have a link to that research as I would be interest in reading its sample pool and it's findings.
