Which shoutbox are you using? I'll have to have a look at this on my test board.

that is correct.

it worked fine when i placed the first template edit within the <thead></thead> tags, but when i moved it from there to directly under $navbar is when it messed the shoutbox up

Sorry to trouble you with a simple style question, but what's the best way to center the items inside the 'bar'? I could edit the <TD> and place alignment paramaters; or set up a class in the css, or inline; or the frightfull <CENTER> tags nested in each cell. I'm not sure. Thanks for considering to answer me.

I'd usemyself as that is what is used everywhere else in vB and still allows you to use standard classes for the contents too.

I've got exams this afternoon (going out to school shortly), so either tonight or tomorrow I'm looking at the shoutbox issues.

With regards to the sidebar on all pages, I'm not sure if amykhar is porting it, but I believe her 3.5.x version works on 3.6.x

Please let me know if you will be using that one instead, as I don't need to look at the shoutbox as priority if you are not using it. Thanks.
