I know a lot of people at my job has yahoo messenger blocked or can't install it on their system. Is this a method of getting around that? Something like yahoo's online java script version?

Yes , this will let people from work who are behind a firewall or proxy get onto MSN/Yahoo - it uses port 80 which is the standard www port and isnt usually blocked by routers in work.

I'll take a look into that when i get back from holidays , its something i was thinking about myself, but as far as i know id have to do that with javascript and im not that great with javascript , though i will look into a system like that.

It would be handy because i could put msn, yahoo and aim into the same options dropdown and it would make life easier for users and look neater.

I'll be home after sunday , and i have a few things to sort out , but ill do some research then on it.

That would be a re-write of the <table> section of the code - Im hopping on a plane in about 2 hours , so if i survive that trip i'll see what i can do afterwards if someone else hasnt had some input into that in the meantime.

What space are you allowing for, and where are you planning to put it ?
