Obviously it doesn't do what I want or I would be using it. I tried his before buying it, it did not give me the convience and ease of use that VBSEO gives me. I can easily rewrite urls outside of the forum directory from one convient control panel.

Why dont you install it to find out? Then look at all the ease of use of VBSEO and make your own decision. All you are going to get here is me saying I love it and others saying it's not worth it. Time to do your own research in my opinion.

If VBSEO goes down, my site continues to rewrite urls just like they do now. The license number is in the config file and with that there is no dependency on their server.

I'm glad you said you are not voicing your opinion though, maybe now we can get somewhere in this thread.
