I figured my first problem out, here are two more I need from you.
(Kinda new at this.)

1. I was able to add it to my site top right flash navbar, but not on the normal nav bar for some reason.

2. When you go to the vBay Auctions home page, (Where you see the "you can edit this message via the vbay_main phrase section.") I have categories listed, and I did a few dummy test auctions yet not of my categories say that they have anything in them. Never mind, figured that one out.

Glad you found it m8, took me forever, I found a free xml editor from MicroSoft and performed the Edit that way. Crossed my fingers and said a hale marry and reloaded the xml product..

I do have question though I hope someone could advise me on. When you click the picture of the item for sale (to enlarge the view) How can I make it return to the previous page?
If I click the back button I get a 404 page not found. If the answer is in this forum and I mist it, then my bad.:confused:

Vbay still has a few MAJOR issues with it, I have it installed but I can't turn it on until they are fixed... It can cause A LOT of legal problems in the furure.

I installed it, seems to be working fine other than minor issue's I listed above, I have put it through some test paces and seems to be good... It's not perfect, but I will wait until the coder/designer gets some more free time to work with it... But for now I can live with the minor flaws.:)

I come to your site, and place a $400 bid on a computer. Some other guy bids $420. The listed buy it now price is $700. Since I want this computer so bad, I click buy it now for the $700. But instead, I get the computer for the $420 that the other person just placed as a bid, AND IT'S PUBLICLY VIEWABLE!!! This will have to be fixed, or I PROMISE you're gonna have some pissed off members.

When this is fixed, I actually want to send blane a dontation for this is an awsome hack, but it has issues.

This hack is missing COMMENTS

It's a forum, you have to allow users to ask public questions about a product. This offer no familiarity to the exisiting forums and thus users will not use much. It saves time and helps Mods track things if comments are allow/added feature.

Now, VBay home, "Welcome to VBay" is redundant.

Hot auction should be increased to VBay home.

Also missing is the "# of bids" in the items for sale list. This would help users guage which items are most interesting. And possibly a column for views.

why admin can not delete or edit the current auctions?

I want to use VBay as sort of like a store as well. However, I have 200+ things to list and the options in the Control Panel are letting me put: "Maximum length of auctions (in days): 1000" but when listing an auction the Maximum amount of days is "99" and I cannot type more than 2 characters in the amount of days box.

Is there a fix for this? It would really be a pain to have to keep re-listing my inventory every 3 months.

it already works with paypal.... It's the "BUY NOW" feature thats screwed up...

This is so close to being exactly what we need for our forum. One thing I would like to see is the ability to limit the bidders by usergroup the same as you can with the sellers.

( The plan we'd like to implement is to allow everyone to view the auctions but make the ability to bid on the auction a premium feature for paying subscribers (along with the ability to sell).)

Also, the ability to have subcategories would be a nice addition as well. For example, we are a parenting board, so it would be nice for us to be able to have a Children's Clothes category with subcategories for specific name brands.

That, plus integrating the iTrader system would be awesome.

This is a good mod and with just a little tweaking it could be phenomenal. Thanks for working on it!!

Well, I have here now the most read and zips me the head but a solution to my problem, I have still not. Everything I have found this was so confusing and incomprehensible to me that I could not implement it. The add-on, I have only been in my first test forum installed.

My problem is this .....

If I want to create a category, then I get a 404 error.

I use the Vbay version 1.1.9 and 3.6.8 vBulletin Forums version patch level 2.

The error seems to have been so long, it may not directly in the add-on will be resolved? Or can someone please times a precise instructions on how to fix the error write and add-on the same attach?

Currently, I see not just because of the mistake, and can not resolve. I ask for comprehensive assistance to resolve the problem. :o

Ok i installed it looks great but i cant seem to find where i add the categories! I searched through the threads about 60 pages worth and everytime someone asked no one answered Just want to know how to add cats. Thanks
