Just check my Flashchat yesterday and although I can login and make a comment in the room, something appears to be wrong. Currently the Chat Room says I have about 15 people in it and I know none of these people are actually online at the moment.

I'm also running the 'Who is chatting (for Flashchat)' and that confirms knowbody is in the chatroom except me. It's as though the connections within flashchat haven't been dropped.

This is a strange error because as far as I know this Mod has been working absolutely fine for months!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Nothing to do with this mod, thats a known flashchat issue.

There is no file you can update for this - it is a Flashchat issue - when the profile option is selected it sends the request as a POST - there is no real need for this and Tufat need to change it to a GET request. That will solve the CSRF error.

Members recently started reporting they are unable to login. Their login name and user password no longer work. All user groups checked and proper permissions granted, system enabled. I've run out of ideas how to resolve this and never had that problem before the integration, any ideas or fixes?

What have you changed - things dont just stop workig for no reason.

I sorted it out, I had user group promotions and that user group was not set in the /includes/cmse/vbulletin files.. thanks for the reply.

Paul, could you be so good as to steer me to somewhere on the FlashChat site? I've been there and can't find the issue, let alone a fix or workaround. In the meantime, my chat is dead. Yikes!

Quick question to you code masters...
I would like to have the number of users in chat reflected as a number only next to the link on the navbar. Could anyone help me out with what the code might be for that.

So instead of the navbar reading Chat, I want it to read Chat (8) for example.

Is there a way to disable the filter for swear words? I can't find that code either.

Look under chat/inc/badwords.php comment out the words you don't want filtered.

My hosting provider does not allow me to have chat scripts installed ... Is there a way to install flashchat on another server and use it by this integration remotely ?

I don't think so because chat must be located into the root folder.
I for my opinion think your provider means IRC chat when he talk about chat. I never see that a provider can forbidden PHP chat's. I also sure that he don't mean that.
