Had similar probs on vb3.5.1 - but when i set up a new usergroup (rather than updating existing ones) it worked perfectly !

I tried to read through as much of these as possible to gauge how to make sure this install didn't affect my users' current cash amounts... if I install this, using ucash, will this try to write to my ucash table (which is modified) 500 cash at install??

should i comment this line out?
$db->query_write("UPDATE " . TABLE_PREFIX . "user SET vbookie_cash=500");

im guessing it wont matter since that table isn't the one I care about?

nevermind, i should have read the instructions- you clearly lay it out there... :)

jayhawk785 11-11-2005 04:29 PM

Ok... so I installed... no MAJOR problems- but- I did run into this:

Lets say you are using uCash, but you modified it to use a different table user.user_bank or something like that... vBookie is not looking for that table, where uCash would be...

How many places do i need to change user.ucash?

I have minister who is a member on my site (a soccer site) and he is going mad about a betting thing beside his username, yet all the other members love the game. Is there any way of removing the vcash from below his avatar.

Edit Template postbit/postbit_legacy or edit the plugin, or create a new plugin to unset it.
