No worries mate, I have the code working in full already for foreign characters. I'll PM you the link to my site so you can see (the site is not yet ready for public release -- but close). I'll get that code to you Dean C.

Paul, pop in the vB.org chat and we can chat there (if I'm around). I don't want to just go changing the character class to (.*) purely for optimization reasons.

This isn't exactly what I'm looking to do. I know how to get it working with foreign characters, I just don't know what the W3C spec is on allowing such characters as ? in URI's :)

What gave you the impression I'm using (.*)? I don't code that way.
