I have got a problem with the cookies...
I installed this great hack on a 3.0.5 vbulletin and the 1.7.1 4images gallery (in the same database as the vb). When I'm logged out and I try to login from the gallery, the login procedure worked as normal for the vbulletin and I'm logged in without any problems in the forum, but not in the 4images gallery. This log in generates 2 new cookies: 1. the correct vbulletin cookie with bblastvisit, bblastactivity, bbuserid, bbpassword 2. an incorrect 4images cookie I think, with: bblastvisit and bbuserid = 0 There might be the problem!?!? In my vbulletin I have as Cookie domain defined: .mydomain.de and a simple / as cookie-path. My board is located unter www.mydomain.de/test/forum and my gallery under www.mydomain.de/test/forum/gallery Anyone there who can help me? Best Regards Sebastian |
I am going to ask a silly question,
In the install it says you have to have VB installed and working and 4 images installed and working. Does the installation assume when you install 4 images that you use the same database name as your forum? |
Just wanted to say great job, been using this for a while ! thanks!

VB Version Version 3.0.5 I have modified the sessions file and contrants as per a how to guide on in this thread. Any help would be appreciated. |
I attached files for compatibility with vB 3.0.6 and 4images 1.7.1
- includes/sessions.php and includes/constants.php slightly modified to work with 1.7.1 and vB 3.0.6 - admin/categories.php edited so you can decide where to place a new category (very good if you have many categories) - fixed some vars in /global.php to make search result page browsing and new images page browsing work with PHP 5.0.x Installation: Replace the 4 files attached from a standard 1.7.1 4images installation (categories.php does not need to be replaced if you don't want additional functionality) Demo board: http://www.sandrabullockcentral.com/sbcgalleries |

i overwrote the files with yours, but nothing changed to my problem, as described in this post: https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....&postcount=281 Do you know a solution? Regards Sebastian |
Make sure you put constants.php and sessions.php in the includes folder and global.php in the gallery root. And make sure these vars in sessions.php are set properly:
define('VBLICENCE_NUMBER', 'XXXXXXXX'); //REPLACE XXXXXXXX with your Licence Number, usually on top of your vB files define('SESSION_NAME', 's'); // Default of vBulletin is "s". define('COOKIE_PREFIX', 'bb'); //Default of vBulletin is "bb". define('COOKIE_TIMEOUT','900'); //Set the same with your vB timeout, in second define('ALBUM_FOLDER','/album/'); //Your Album Folder WITH trailing slash I just tried it with the files and it works. |
PLEASE HELP!
I have a problem which here often discussed. When I login in my gallery, it say me " Thank you for logging in, Guz2003." and returns me on the main page without a login. When I login in my Forum works all normal, but I go to the gallery and I am not in login. My users have same problem. I can't login in my Admin area as well. Long time ago I have installed this integration and all worked perfectly. But recently I have moved all site on a new server with new domain, up gallery to 1.7.1 and after that this mod has ceased to work. I have installed this hack once again and have checked up all files, but it has not helped! I have installed NEW gallery and have applied this hack, but it has not helped as well. I have read all this theme but the answer have not found. =(( p.s. I have 4images 1.7.1 and vbulletin 3.0.3 No subdomains Tables in same Database // User default levels define('GUEST', 0); // GUEST group or ID define('USER_AWAITING_DEFAULT', 3); define('USER_DEFAULT', 2); define('ADMIN_DEFAULT', 6); Thanks a lot for any help!!!! |
I found the problem. Need to be change Path to Save Cookies in Vb AdminCP from '/forum/' to '/'. Easy =)))
