Thanks for the great hack, its looking good now, I submitted it yesterday and hopefully crossed that I might get listed soon.

A quick question...do sub forums still not get spidered? Mine are not coming up on the archive?

Also how do you guys see that Google has been on your site? I got Urchine stats with my Ensim server from Rackshack but can't find dates that its been in?

Thanks

Stuart

What do you mean by change the extensions? I take them off and go to the archive page and get an error.

Bah ok everyone. I guess that wasn't my final version, cause I just released another one. This one now supports sub-forums. The previous one did also, except it relied on what you had your forums depth set as in the admin enter. I know lots of people have several levels of sub-forums, but dont want to show them on forumhome... so this hack will go 5 levels deep now, regardless of what your depth is set as in the admin. So I guess the current release is "vB Easy Archive Final v2.0" ..... lmao.

Hi Scuzzy

Working great now, nice one. Whats this forum depth thing about? Do I need to set it somewhere?

Thanks

Stuart

SkuZZy 01-27-2003 09:39 PM

nope, you don't need to set forum depth. Glad it's working now :D :D :D :D :D

Thank you for adding the sub-forums feature. Now it fits all my needs. :)

*Great Job*

I just installed the new version however I still don't see any sub-forums. There should be some under new files: http://board.midibuddy.net/archive2/

Google did reindex my site though :)
