Friends,

According to the vbulletin.org rules, hacker has right NOT to give support for released hacks. So if Teck has chosen to do so (or not giving his support here), this is ok.

Please understand that the hacks released here are all FREE and we are just grateful to all hack authors who are sharing their work with all fellow vbulletin users without commercial intentions. It would be really very unfair to expect the hack authors force to commit more time to give support for their released hacks. It would also lead many hack authors choose not to release their hacks if they are forced to give support here.

So whether a hack has support of its author or not, it is welcomed here in vbulletin.org provided that it complies with board rules (Teck's hack does). If you don't like to install such a hack, that is your call, then do not install it. But please refrain from comments what will offence hack authors who are helping us having a great hacking community here.

Also please do not clutter hack threads with discussions not related to the hack itself and share your thoughts about vbulletin rules or policies or eachother in site feedback forum or via private messages, if you have further comments.

Thank you!

PS. I don't have a subscription in this thread, so please do not address me here, if you feel urge to reply me. Thx!

using v4.2 . . got a few quick questions. .

should i be seeing the vbHome section in the forum admin after running the vbhlinstall script?

the vbhome options need to be set in this section before it will work right?

cant seem to figure out what i missed. . been through the readme line by line many times. . verified/uploaded the relavant files . . ran the uninstall/install script a bunch too. . read through this thread and it doesnt seem to be a known issue. . (so its probably me) . . seems straight forward enough and all the new templates are there but the vbhome admin isnt in there in vbulletin options

thanks for the help. .

Does anybody of you have custmoized it? Need it for my board webmaxtor.com, if you got an idea, e-mail me or ICQ, I'll help you with design, in case you need a custom style for vB.
Code like on vbulletinstyles.com? If so, can you give some links or just good instructions? Need to do it, don't know how. :ermm:

You know what to do from there. ;)
