So much for getting ANY updates or support since the domain name is dead for these people

stangger5 10-21-2014 07:24 PM

The support forums & data from v3Arcade.com have been merged into the vBadvanced.com site.

wjkingsnorth 10-25-2014 12:11 AM

IPB games do not submit even after the edit on the index file. v3Arcade 2.0.3A vb 4.2.2

wjkingsnorth 10-25-2014 10:57 PM

Anyone have an idea?

skido 11-18-2014 05:17 PM

After installing I have no Arcade tab on the navbar? I am sorry if this has already been asked but can someone please help me with this edit. I tested the actual arcade link and everything is working great including submitting scores ..just have no arcade tab in the navbar.

You need to manually add the navigation menu..

Would anyone know where I could find the game "dope wars"?

My users are asking for it, but I can't seem to find the actual game download.

I know it exists as I see it installed on other sites.

Thanks,

D.

I'm in the process of upgrading vBulletin 3.8.x to 5.x will this still work?

ozzy47 12-28-2014 03:15 PM

Nope, this will not work in vb5, but this one should, https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=299200

hunter1985 12-28-2014 03:27 PM

Same as ozzy47 said. Also v3arcade are owned by www.vbadvanced.com but no longer support all its addons anymore. So the vB5 version for v3arcade won't happen.

Idawg 01-21-2015 04:37 PM

Is vBadvanced.com run on someone's computer, or just on a lousy server... It is down more than it is up....

ozzy47 01-21-2015 07:22 PM

vBAdvanced is all of about dead. The owner said he is giving up, but going to try and maintain the site as long as possible.

Dolamite 01-31-2015 12:47 AM

when i go to install this it just gets stuck on "Importing Product, Please Wait..." and never installs...... any ideas?

thanks

EDIT-

i got it to work by installing the previous version first and then upgrading...

also adding this line to the config.php seemed to be necessary also:

define('SKIP_ALL_ERRORS', true);

Idawg 05-15-2015 02:27 PM

Yeah, like I said in an earlier post Ozzy47, so much for support and such... And I really liked vbadvanced...

stangger5 04-10-2020 02:25 PM

Is anyone still using this arcade?
It works fine with vb 4.2.5 and with a few edits, works with PHP 7.4.4

Would anyone be interested in a html5 game mod for v3arcade?

I sure would. I currently have an arcade installed for vB 4.2.5...but I believe it requires flash to use...and some of my members say..."Hey...I can't see any games."...which is because flash isn't installed...and many folks don't want to install flash.

Thus an html5 arcade for vB 4.2.5 would be nice...and I think many of these html5 games are better quality.

Thanks

I am also interested. I'm strongly considering removing the arcade from my forum because it's too much of a pain for most people due to Flash.

BOXCAR 11-10-2020 04:35 PM

Just a quick question, I have V3 installed on my site but I am just wondering what will happen Dec31st when everyone blocks Flash... I am not sure if this was asked or not but If i need to make changes I would like to get started on them and not wait till the last minute..

And for sure I would welcome an HTML5 arcade... Not sure if there is a way to get the 100's of flash games to work on it "maybe in a flash shell" within the site run from the server side? Not sure but it would be awesome to get one going before flash DIES!
Thanks

Hang on, vBulletin and PaulM said that vBulletin 4.2.5 doesn't work for PHP 7.2 or over. How is that possible?

Also I've found this and I've kept my Flash Arcade Games inside but not open to the public as it is dying and no longer secure.

Many of us have or had modified VB 4 to run under PHP 7.4.x My self included. With that we also had to touch many of the modifications in order for them to work as well. You do not need a VB developer as this is just simple PHP so really anyone with PHP ability can do it.

Greek76 11-11-2020 10:14 PM

Would be great if It worked with vb5.

Can you show me how to and maybe share me some tips, please? I cannot stick with PHP 5.6 for too long. Btw I'm using DBTech's vBArcade not v3.

stangger5 11-15-2020 11:01 AM

I got the vb edits from this post:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showpost....7&postcount=20

I using PHP 7.4.12 right now.

v3arcade and ibproarcade both are working fine.
Ibproarcade just has more edits you need to make, for PHP 7.4.

HTML5 mod for v3arcade is posted here:
https://vborg.vbsupport.ru/showthread.php?t=327955

I dont have anything for DBTech's vBArcade.

hello possible to have the zip so that the mod works with php 7.4.12 thank you

hunter1985 01-11-2021 05:22 PM

Well I could do with vBulletin 4 being supported for PHP 7.2 or newer addons as well as the core addons for vB 4 itself.

lagrace 01-19-2021 06:17 PM
