You can update credits through the Admin CP to give them the right credits based on the stats since the forum started.

I like paypal donations better. it should be u set how many credits they get for donating a certain amount. not buy credits.

it also works with the subscription system for direct donation amounts -> credits. if youd like you can suggest (as someone just did) some donation-esque things, like amount bars, top donaters, etc.

its just i would not make an addon for something that would become the direct competition to something ive already done. (who would?)

if you are using 1.4 and not in navbar, your admin usergroup is disabled from vbcredits

to get it to show up in cmps, paste the code you added to navbar wherever you would like in the welcome panel's template

This is a fantastic addon! :up: But I think there's a bug: if it's set to count the number of words posted, then it doesn't award anything over the maximum that I set - which is fine.

But when I go back and edit the post, then double its length, the number of credits earned goes way over the max, as though there is no max.

My members Credits are dissapearing.

Any clue why?

if you are using 1.4, have a negation multiplier set, and an activity award - then they will lose credits when they arent active. :) if you think your settings are good and its doing weird stuff, let me know and ill look it over for you

those who have seen 1.4 know how much bigger it is than 1.3 was/is. so codewise 1.4 is not yet up to my standards to call it final, not to mention a couple minor bugs still looking into which i want fixed first.

those who wanted a fixed 1.4/2.6.4+ ibproarcade addon - itll be available in maybe an hour or two :) just polishing it up

if your custom styles dont have the target code youll have to find similar code in your navbar template. look for $vbphrase[your_pm_box_is_x_full] and add after the closing if tag.

Just a couple of quick questions for you.

I had to do some template edits that weren't necessarily ones that everyone had to do with 1.3. Mostly just putting in hard code where everyone else had to put phrases. Don't know why, just my forum wouldn't accept some of the phrases. Will I need to redo those template edits (change them back to phrases) for the upgrade to work with no problems?

Other question was I can't seem to remember which points hack we had installed before. I believe it said uTT Store Hack. Since we've moved servers and upgraded the software, I think we may have lost all our points data, but I'm not sure. Is one of the conversion you have listed the same as the uTT Store Hack, or is that something completely different?

Well to answer all of your questions: I'm not sure :-p

Everything has been switched out from 1.3 to use template edits instead of relying on hooks and such. It is slightly more of a pain, but will solve the biggest support issue ive had to deal with, including sites still using older vb versions. I am happy to help you revert the things youve done to get it to work since the new method will almost suredly work right away for you :-p

I can take a look at your forum and figure out if you have any points hack still installed, and maybe make a converter out of it :-p The closest I can think of it ucash/ushop, but i dont think its the same. Either way, just come talk to me privately with an admin login.
