Hello Guys,

I installed tha´e Hack and there were no bigger Problems.

Now i get the Following Error:

Sorry, Andre: Bad Type - File is of the Wrong MIME Type

The rights on the folders are OK! I tried different Picturetypes but the result is always the same.

With the Boardsearch i found some people who had the same Problem, but there was never an Answer...

Any hints?

Best Regards...Andre

Has anyone developed a way of watermarking images automatically when a user uploads them in the photoplog gallery?
I would desperately like to see this so people don't steal images from my site.
Thanks.

Suiko Jin 11-02-2006 08:39 AM

Hello, I have installed this and everything seems fine, but is there a way to upload massive amounts of images at one time without having to upload manually? I use a gallery now but would rather us this.

Just have a quick look at the file types you are uploading. I recently had the same problem and it turned out the problem was that my files ended in .jpeg, I removed the e to make it .jpg and problem solved, everything uploaded fine.

ociosos 11-05-2006 11:58 PM

PhotoPlog ver. 2.0.5

feel free to use!!

maidos 11-17-2006 01:35 PM

this mod does not work for 3.6.2

Pearl 11-18-2006 07:17 AM

This is a great add-on ,but unfortunatly i have a problem.

My site is using safe mode, i can change the folder Image so it can write to that folder however the script is creating subfolders for each user.
Is there anyway to change the code so it stores the files in the map Images and not in subfolders of images?

Cheers
Lynn

nvm i found the answer:o

Safe mode being off has always been a requirement. It's just listed again with the other requirements. IMHO if anyone wants a gallery, storing files in a database or restricted directory isn't the way to go, as it's too much overhead or lacks flexibility. Personally speaking, I don't think PHP not in safe mode was the problem with your server being hacked. It's more likely that it was due to a bad script or old version of something or other. PhotoPlog needs safe mode off to process files. If you take a run through the code, it is unlikely, though not impossible as I'm not perfect, that you will find a tainted variable. If you have mod_rewrite abilities, this has always been a gem to stick in an htaccess file:

I *think* it's in the Settings.php in your Photoplog directory.

The PhotoPlog Pro version allows you to upload multiple images at once and also has an FTP upload option.

this is a cracking little mod, fits perfectly into what I want to do, however I must be able to take out the to urls that are shown when you view an image ie img tags and url tags, how can I take that out so folks cant see them? actually thinking about it disable right click would be good aswell ;)

blind-eddie 12-19-2006 03:03 AM

Question??
When I view whos online & a member is in PhotoPlog, I click on PhotoPlog via Whos online and in my address bar I see http://outerzone.us/forum/:///photoplog/index.php?n=109

Note the many forward slashes...Then I get a 404 Not Found page...How do I correct this to be able to view the PhotoPlog via Whos online?....

Hello, great mod but i need to know if there's an on/off option for the random pictures in the forum index since i've added it in the portal i'd like to have this feature enabled so is it possibile?

Reece^B 12-20-2006 12:46 PM

If you don't want to show Random Thumbs in the forumhome, then remove:
$photoplog_forumhome

TheWhite 12-21-2006 12:34 AM

thanks, but it would be nice to have an on/of button implemented :)

blind-eddie 12-21-2006 12:15 PM

Question?, Is there a way to get all replys to images to show up as new post?
If a member coments on another members image, that comment goe's un-noticed.

Apfelfrucht 01-17-2007 08:04 PM

Hello,

I've clicked and installed the Photoplog, but what i have to do after importing the XML language file :
I go to vB ACP -> Languages & Phrases -> Download / Upload Languages -> Import "language_photoplog-spanish" XML File

But what is the next step detail i have to do ?

Please help...

blind-eddie 01-18-2007 04:56 AM

If you have followed the directions correctly, type in browser http://yoursite.com/photoplog/
for example mine is http://www.outerzone.us/photoplog/

You will need to add your photoplog to either your navbar(forums) or your
Navigation mod(vba pages)

wobbly 01-18-2007 10:03 AM

I may have missed it but how do I make the thumbs appear above my main forum list rather than just in the main photoplog page?

project-Buckfas 01-19-2007 01:03 PM

^^^^^^^^^^
I need this too!
