I think you have misunderstood me. What I meant was able to change the height on the fly. That is if the user wants a larger display, then he/she can hit a button to say increase 100 pixels. Just like the vB3.5's Editing text area.

I'm on 3.5 RC 1, IE

BUGS (on mine)

1. the shout position doesn't work for Below Forums and Below What's going on box. the shoutbox just disappears when I try them.
   
   I don't notice any difference between below navbar and above forums....though that could be just cause I haven't move anything around.
   
   
2. from what I can tell (on mine) the Newest At the Bottom doesn't work (whehter the Display format options is above or below messages). New shouts just don't appear and whenever the shoutbox refreshes it it jumps back down to the bottom of the shout list. (I wanted to try out Format Options at the bottom with Newest Shouts appearing from Bottom----but no go.)

And really sorry to bug you as anything you do with this appreciated ....but couple of

REQUESTS/QUESTIONS

• Font size option in the format options.
  
  I saw this posted a few times, but I didnt' see an answer... :/ How do you change the font size now? (Independent of the forum CSS settings). That is I am trying to get the shout box fonts to be smaller....but dont' want to change the font sizes I have in the rest of the forum.

btw..... I you keep adding commands like the "/me" command and "/prune" (maybe others I missed?)......... wouldn 't this become like a local forum version of IRC? in a superficial way. That would actually be AWESOME as I have yet to see a integrated IRC hack (*ahem*anytakers?*) heh.

This shout add is brilliant! It would be very cool if irc and shout are combined with in it the usual irc commands and even sounds in au format. Maybe this will rise the bandwith usage skyhigh.

How can you make this global ?
