So how would one go about connecting two vb 4.x forums?

The steps of the connecting two vB 4.x forums are the same as you have one of them as master and connect another one as slave as well as you connect WordPress, etc.

[*SOLVED*]This error is caused by an incompatibility with another 3rd party plugin.
Someone else brought this to my attention after installing VbSSO, but new users cannot register and it throws a databases error.
*update* The new user actually is created, however there seem to be missing/broken tables for that user. Upon logging in there are more database errors before the forums can be accessed.

Should there be a value at the end of the SQL line before the 'LIMIT 1?'
Or can SELECT TOP 1 * be used instead of LIMIT all together?
Code:

<!--
Database error in vBulletin 3.8.6:

Invalid SQL:
SELECT * FROM `vbsso_users` WHERE `vbuserid` =  LIMIT 1;

MySQL Error  : You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near 'LIMIT 1' at line 1
Error Number  : 1064

Script        : http://www.mysite.com/forums/register.php?do=addmember
Referrer      : https://www.mysite.com/forums/register.php?do=register

-->

Oh and I'm running SQL version 5.1.63, thanks.

There should be a value definitely. We will investigate the issue and get it solved with releasing the update.

If you wait for a week, the new version of the vBSSO WordPress plugin comes out providing the login widget. So you would be able to put it into any section you want and keep using the single sign-on.

The implementation of the plugin for Drupal 7 is in progress and it is supposed to be released on September. Currently there is only one way to use membership plugin is to use it separately with vBSSO plugin. If you would like to make both working in custom way you are always welcome to request a new feature via the form available at http://vbsso.com/request-new-feature/

Also, any timetable on the Joomla version? I'm excited to get my hands on that.

Here is another Joomla user that would like a solution that syncs vBulletin users better than jfusion and includes the profile picture and/or avatar which jfusion doesn't. I've been meaning to try WP so I'm looking forward to giving this intriguing mod a try.

Thanks. -- Rik

Unfortunately we are not able to publish the release date of Joomla plugin, one note that it was planned to be released right after Drupal plugin is released next month. So, we would recommend to keep watching and we are doing all the best to get it released in autumn.
